Sources & methodology

PrometUzivo.com is an independent traffic view. The primary planned machine-readable source is Croatia’s National Access Point (NPT). Selected B2B datasets require prior registration and approval through the NPT. For every activated dataset we follow the reuse and attribution terms attached to that specific source.

Planned datasets

We requested incidents, roadworks, cameras, wind and weather, traffic counters, travel-time data and relevant ferry information. Only approved sources with clear reuse terms are activated on the site.

How live data is handled

When the NPT feed is connected, data is fetched server-side, cached briefly and shown with the time of our last successful retrieval. An unavailable source is never presented as zero incidents.

HAK and official channels

HAK is an important official information channel for drivers, but PrometUzivo does not copy HAK reports or present them as our own data feed.

Limitations

Traffic can change within minutes. Data may be delayed, incomplete or incorrectly located. Road signs and official instructions always take precedence.
